My new droid phone

After an agonizing 3 month wait, I finally received my new phone thru online. I didn't want to be like everyone else and buy an iPhone and I had been looking around for something that was comparable to the iPhone and I found it with the Motorola droid. We recieved our new refrigerator

We finally received our new refrigerator last Friday from the San Diego Gas & Electric Company. The good thing is that we received completely free of charge. We didn't even have to pay the taxes on it. If some of you readers reading this blog would like to inquire into this unique program, you can call the number on the picture above. We found this hanging on our front door knob when we came home one day and so i decided to call to see if i would qualify. We did qualify and they did come to our house and make the repairs that were on the card. On the thing about the free refrigerator, as long as you qualify for the income in the scale above and your refrigerator was made in 1982 or older you will qualify. They will provide you a brand new one equivalent to the size that you have now free of charge. We bought our old one from the lady who used to live here for $100 but as soon as we got it, it started to leak water so we were going to buy a new one at home depot. Good thing we didn't do that. We're happy with our new refrigerator. It's an $800.00 refrig for absolutely nothing so we can't go wrong.

Graveyard shift here I come.

I feel depressed today because yesterday I learned that I will be moved to the graveyard shift coming the end of this week. Actually, all the mechanics bid over the past week but rumors were flying around the shop mentioning that one of the graveyard supervisors would be moved to the swing shift and some mechanics do not like this one supervisor so they put in a bid for the morning shift which in turn pushed me out of the morning slot. All in all I ended up getting the graveyard shift from 10:00pm - 6:30am. That means that I wont be with my wife and kids when it comes time to go to bed. I'm hating life right about now. I don't know when i will be able to have the morning shift again. Hopefully it wont be too long. I just spoke to a coworker and he said that this will be a short stint and that we will be bidding again when the kids recess for break. About 2-3 months. Pray for me.

Where's my new refrigerator

On my last post i talked about how we were able to qualify for a brand new refrigerator compliments of San Diego Gas & Electric as well as energy saving modifications to our home to help us save money on our Gas & Electricity bill. A representative from the energy company said that someone would be coming over around 5 days after this man's visit but sad to say, we haven't seen any people come from San Diego Gas & Electric yet and here it is the 20th of the month. I guess if no one comes over by the end of the month I'll probably have to make a phone call to find out whats going on. That's all for now. :-(

Free refrigerator if you qualify!

Upon coming home from my wife's doctor we found this flyer hanging on our front door knob. It's from San Diego Gas & Electric. After taking a closer look at it, i found out that it concerned some energy saving tips that the energy company would like to show us. All we needed to do was call the guy who's name appeared on the flyer to set up an appointment. By the way, in order to qualify for these money saving tips, our household had to earn incomes below the chart that you see on this flyer. To make a long story short, the man came over our house today and installed all new energy saving light bulbs for free. We had 8 light bulbs he replaced and he gave us 4 energy saving night lights all for free. The company will come back and install new shower heads on our shower, Add an insulation blanket to our electric/gas furnace and install weather stripping in our windows. Ok now, your all probably thinking there has to be a catch? Nope, no catch. everything will be installed free of charge under this program. Ok now here's the kicker. We will receive a brand new whirlpool refrigerator free of charge! Can you believe that? Yep, if you qualify for this program and your refrigerator was made in 1992 or older, you qualify for a brand new refrigerator compliments of San Diego Gas & Electric.

Milestone for my little daughter

My little daughter briannah is growing up and getting bigger. Today my wife called me at work to tell me that my daughter can now roll over on her stomach from her back. Wow! That's great news! She really is getting bigger. My 3 year old son Ethan was able to roll over on his stomach by the age of 3 months. My daughter briannah did it in 5 months but that's OK because everyone learns at their own pace. And while I'm writing this post I'm noticing my daughter is learning to use her voice by screaming more than before. Well, it's only a matter of time before she will start crawling and saying some nonsense words here and there. She is teething right now so she has a lot of spit coming out of her mouth. She doesn't cry so much anymore which is also good. I'm blessed by god to have a boy and girl.

It's hailing right now

Wow! I can't believe it's actually hailing right now. I was on the computer when all of a sudden i heard what sounds like a big wind, so i went outside to find out what all the noise was about and when i did, it was raining so hard. My neighbor also heard it and we both stepped outside at the same time and he Say's it's hail. He said look down and grabbed a piece of ice from the rain and sure enough, it was hail. I couldn't believe my eye's. Well, we need the rain anyways. That's all for now.
