Webroot® - Review

Recently, our virus software was due to expire less than 30 days and every year around this time in February we end up having to renew our virus software for 3 computers. I can't emphasize enough the importance of keeping our virus software up to date because our computers are used regularly for our online business. If our computers are infected with a virus, it will compromise our online business and render it useless. That's why we take our pc virus software very serious. I was recently offered the opportunity to review a internet security software for free. Since my virus software was about to expire, how can I go wrong. If it offers good security and protection from malaware and viruses, I'll keep it. I installed the webroot secure anywhere complete software package 3 days ago and so far my laptop has been running flawlessly.

Here is a snapshot of my laptop desktop with the software installed. Look at the message down at the bottom of the screen that indicates CPU use. Pretty impressive huh? I haven't noticed any changes in the way my laptop runs and the installation process was quick and simple. What I noticed right away was that I didn't need to reboot my computer after installation and the computer scan after the software was installed took minutes compared to over an hour with the norton 360 virus software I had on my laptop before. That's great! Also, my laptop used less memory during scanning than did when I was using the norton 360 software. I didn't know that this security software was voted PCmagazines editors choice award in October 4, 2011 and voted best of the year in 2011 by PCmagazine plus other awards. This software is internationally recognized as one of the best security softwares WOW. I'm impressed.

I'm very pleased with this virus software and I will give it 5 stars for protection, ease of use, speed in scanning, and affordability. The webroot secure anywhere complete package will protect 5 pc's, mac computers or mobile devices. You can even use it on your tablet. It comes with 25 GB of online protection to keep all your files and photos safe from loss. My other virus software didn't offer that. Check out webroot.com and compare your current virus software to theirs. Put them to the test and if your not satisfied, they have a 70 -day money back guarantee.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I don't understand any of the virus protection software, my husband does everything when it comes to my computer. But, you're right, when you use your computer for your online business, you have to make sure that it has virus protection, otherwise, it can ruin everything. Liza Barnett

Now that I, and many people, do everything online, it is so important to have virus protection software.

I've never tried them, but I will consider it when my current antivirus runs out. Love that you don't have to reboot to get it going. I know that seems like a minor thing, but when you're trying to get work done, rebooting takes forever it seems!

I have never heard of Webroot before, but I'm glad that it is working for you! Keeping our computers safe and free of viruses and malware is so important, says the person who has had their computer wiped clean several times after getting terrible viruses.

Yes, a good virus software is indeed important. I'll ask my hubby (who does keep my laptop virus free) to try and check this product. Thanks for this post

My first time to hear about Webroot. I can't believe there are a lot of antivirus software out there and I am only most familiar with McAfee coz it is what we are using ever since.

I haven't heard of this since my husband is the one in charge for my PC software. I'll let him read your blog and check this brand of anti-virus.
